Mr & Miss Vintage UK 2026

Competition Rules

1. Basic Entry Requirements - You must be over 18 (by the time of the 2026 festival), and a resident of the UK. You must also be available to attend the live final at Twinwood Festival on Sunday 30th August if you make it to the final round (complimentary weekend tickets & camping are provided to finalists).

2. Photo Requirements - We only publish one photo per person, so send us a single, good-quality photo (preferably full length), showing you in your best vintage look. Your photo must only have one person in it (you). Apparel must be civilian daywear or eveningwear in a vintage style (no swimwear, lingerie, militaria or weaponry). You must have permission from the photographer to use and submit your image. Twinwood Events reserves the right not to publish any photos that it deems unsuitable.

3. Where To Send Your Photo - Email your image to competition@twinwoodfestival.com, and please include your name and age (age won't be displayed) and where you are from. You are welcome to submit any further information about yourself, which we may display alongside your image at our discretion. A few words about your passion for the vintage look and lifestyle could improve your chances! Applicants must be contactable via the email address they used when submitting their image. The deadline for emailed entries is Midnight on Sunday 21st June. Please note: Twinwood will start to publish photo entries on the Twinwood Facebook page, in a "Preview Album", as they are collected any time between May 18th and June 21st, but public voting on the images will only begin from June 22nd, once all the entries have been submitted.

4. Public Voting - The photos will go live in a new album - our "Final Album" - on Monday June 22nd on the Twinwood Festival Facebook page. This album allows us to collect "public votes". A public vote is cast by simply "liking" the Facebook photo. Although public votes are useful to help the judges make their decision, we must stress that they are advisory to the judges, and do not guarantee entry to the finals. The quality of the entry remains the most important factor. Newcomers with truly excellent entries, but less public votes, may well find that they still make it to the judge's top 15! The public voting period lasts from June 22nd to July 6th.

5. Selection of the Finalists - After July 6th, all entries in the Final Album will be considered by our judges. Twinwood's judges will choose their top ten ladies and top five gents, who will be invited to attend the live final which will be held in front of a panel of vintage experts, on Sunday 30th of August at Twinwood Festival. Each finalist will recieve two free 4-day weekend tickets to the festival, plus a camping pitch so they can attend the event. (Please note, if you have already bought 2026 tickets, you will need to contact us via email so we can issue you with a Twinwood credit note for the value of the booked tickets.)
